Tim Diego has a number of high profile and responsible roles including that of Senior Managing Director of Windgate Capital, LP. He has also very recently been elected as the Chairman of the Finance Committee on the Board of Directors for the Centro Espanol de Tampa. The Centro Espanol de Tampa is Tampa’s oldest surviving social club and was established back in 1891 with 186 members. This number grew impressively to more than 3,500. The club was established in order to offer Spanish immigrants access to medical care that they would not have been able to afford otherwise.

When Spanish immigrants first arrived in the country they would have no or very low income making it nearly impossible to access much needed medical attention and care. The club set about ensuring that they not only got the basic treatment that was required but that they could access state-of-the-art medical care as well as exceptional patient after care. On the announcement, Tim Diego stated that “it is our goal to see this club return to such grandeur”.

Other recent announcements concerning Tim Diego include two from Windgate Capital, LP. The assisted living and medical facility alternative private equity firm announced in October that it would be awarding shareholders with an extra 15 cent per share dividend and, in December they announced that they would be opening an office in London. Tim Diego said of these announcements that he would continue “to look at the SWAN deals” or the Sleep Well At Night deals.
